Bleyer Wedge

The Bleyer Wedge shoes are a comfortable, retro lace-up wedge shoe with heel strap. The pretty detail on the leather uppers gives them a quality look. The soles have been specially made to enhance your movement across the dance floor.  

Colours and Finishes Available

The Bleyer Wedge is available in black, white or cream in a soft matt leather upper as standard. 

How The Shoes Fit

The Bleyer Wedge is available as standard in Bleyer size 37 to 43 (covering UK 3.5 to 8). Bleyer shoes are marked with European sizes and they tend to fit approximately one size small compared to typical European sizes. So, for example if you normally wear a European 38 you would probably want a Bleyer 39.

The Bleyer Wedge fits very similar to the popular Bleyer Swivel.  

As we are a UK based site, UK sizes are listed first in our drop-down options. We have used our experience to translate the Bleyer sizes to UK sizes. This means that there are half sizes in some, but not all, UK sizes. This is simply as a result of the translations, so if your feet are a half size that is not listed, we would normally suggest that you select the next half size up. About The Uppers

The Bleyer Wedge is a lace-up across the front of the shoe, and also has a strap and buckle across the heel. The material used on the uppers is matt leather. This shoe comes with a fitted leather insole.

About The Soles & The Heels

The Bleyer Wedge has a single wedged sole which are incredibly comfortable for dancing. The sole has remained popular with jive and swing dancers for many years and is ideal as a practice shoe. It has enough movement to help you glide easily across the floor. It will give you more sure-footed confidence than leather or suede. It is made from a special non-staining, PU composite.
