Colours & Finishes Available
Bleyer Luigi are offered in red and black as standard, although ANY colour combinations can be requested through a Special Order. If you would like more information about placing a Special Order, please get in touch. These shoes are available as standard with matt leather uppers or shiny synthetic patent uppers, which will make the shoes stand out even more!
How The Shoes Fit Including Notes about the Width
Bleyer Luigi are available as standard in Bleyer size 39 to 47 (covering UK5 to 11). The shoes themselves are fitted on the unisex last and so they fit similar to the Bleyer Rock'n'Roll, Boogie Woogie and Lindy Lace. For wider shoes please consider the Bleyer Charleston. Bleyer shoes are marked with European sizes and they tend to fit approximately one size small compared to typical European sizes. So, for example if you normally wear a European 42 you would probably want a Bleyer 43.
As we are a UK based site, UK sizes are listed first in our drop-down options. We have used our experience to translate the Bleyer sizes to UK sizes. This means that there are half sizes in some, but not all, UK sizes. This is simply as a result of the translations, so if your feet are a half size that is not listed, we would normally suggest that you select the next half size up. If you’re still not sure which size to select please call or email for advice. The Bleyer Luigi is a high quality, lace-up shoe with either all matt leather uppers or all synthetic patent uppers.
About The Soles
The Classic soles are made from cell rubber with a molded heel for great arch support. The material used is a high-tech innovation that gives you the ideal combination of light yet hardwearing soles for dancing. The look and feel of this sole type is at odds with most people’s idea of a rubber sole, it can easily be mistaken for plastic. Dancing with this sole gives a more sure-footed feel than the other Bleyer composite soles or leather soles. It is recommended for beginner or intermediate dancers.
