How The Shoes Fit

The Bleyer Lindy Hopper Strap is available as standard in Bleyer size 34 to 43 (covering UK 2 to 8). Bleyer shoes are marked with European sizes and they tend to fit approximately one size small compared to typical European sizes. So, for example if you normally wear a European 38 you would probably want a Bleyer 39.

The Bleyer Lindy Hopper Strap is a very popular ladies dance shoe. These shoes fit the same as other Bleyer models such as the Jitterbug Teeny, most people find these shoes a comfortable fit.  

As we are a UK based site, UK sizes are listed first in our drop-down options. We have used our experience to translate the Bleyer sizes to UK sizes. This means that there are half sizes in some, but not all, UK sizes. This is simply as a result of the translations, so if your feet are a half size that is not listed, we would normally suggest that you select the next half size up. If you’re still not sure which size to select please call or email for advice. About The Uppers

The Bleyer Lindy Hopper Strap is strap and buckle shoe. The black or red material is matt leather and the white is Durasoft, which is a synthetic material that feels and acts just the same. There is integrated heel-padding, but Bleyer recommend purchasing the Bleyer Insole (code 4423) with these shoes to soften the impact whilst dancing.

About The Soles & The Heels

The Bleyer Lindy Hopper Strap has a single flat sole to help you stay closer to the ground and feel the floor whilst dancing. The sole has remained popular with jive and swing dancers for many years and is ideal as a practice shoe. It has enough movement to help you slide, swivel and glide easily across the floor, there is even a spin spot! It will give you more sure-footed confidence than leather or suede, which makes it great for aerials. It is made from a special non-staining, PU composite.
